Office of Multicultural Affairs
As Mahatma Gandhi famously said, “You must be the change you want to see in the world.” If one of our goals at Trinity is to produce critical thinkers who will be leaders and problem-solvers in the urban-global age — who will attempt to change a world scarred by ethnic and religious intolerance, violence against women, and political dogmatism — we need to “be the change” at home.
You’ll discover that Trinity is a college committed to a vibrant multicultural community. The College offers programs and resources that support and help give voice to a diverse student body. Some programs are directed specifically to first-year students to assist in their transition to college life, while others support students at every turn in their college lives.
The Office of Multicultural Affairs oversees all efforts to promote a richly diverse and welcoming Trinity experience. Multicultural Affairs helps recruit and retain a more representative student body, support multicultural student groups, run the P.R.I.D.E. mentoring program, and promote activities that enhance academic success and social satisfaction for students of color.
